BACKGROUND
Country Cuisine is located in the food haven of Daylesford in Regional Victoria, a region renowned for award winning produce and fresh mineral waters. They supply an extensive range of condiments, jams and treats throughout Victoria. All products are made in small batches using fresh quality ingredients.
PROJECT
There was an opportunity to sell the product into Coles supermarkets. ThompsonCooke was given the task to re-brand the company, to give it the best chance of being chosen to go into stores nationally. The brand was carried onto all packaging, corporate iD and sample packs.
CHALLENGES
Being a small company in Daylesford, the labels were required to be printed in-house, therefore 4 standard sizes were designed and printed on specific sized rolls, with space for inkjet overprint. Particular attention to the typography and typeface as well as paper stock and background colour was required, for the over print to be successful.
RESULTS
Country Cuisine products were chosen to be trailed in Coles supermarkets and have been ranged in many of the stores.
